The Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, known as SWUFE, is one of the Ministry of Education’s 71 key universities. Within this elite group, SWUFE is one of only five universities specializing in finance and economics. SWUFE was established in 1925; it now contains 2 campuses, 27 departments and schools, and 22,000+ students.

Changchun University of Science and Technology is a university founded in 1958 by Chinese Academy of Sciences. Through years, it has developed into a provincial key university in Jilin province with Optoelectronic technology as its outstanding feature, integrating Optics, Mechanics, Electronics, Computer and Material Science as its superiority and coordinately developing in the fields of Arts, Economics, Management and Law. It has been widely acknowledged as “the Cradle for Chinese Optical Talents”.

Beijing Foreign Studies University, or BFSU, located in the Haidian District of Beijing, where the key institutions of higher education and high-tech industries are concentrated, is divided into two campuses – the West Campus and the East Campus. BFSU covers a total area of 492,000 square meters and enjoys access to convenient transportation, with the Third Ring Road running through the two campuses.

Xuzhou Medical University, situated in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province(less than three hours by train to Beijing or Shanghai), is an institution of higher education under the direct administration of Jiangsu Provincial Government. Established in 1958, XZMU has now become the center of medical education, medical service and medical research in the north of Jiangsu Province as well as in the whole Huaihai Economic Zone.

Shandong Jianzhu University is an engineering-based multidisciplinary university specialized in civil construction, also covering engineering, science, management, literature, arts, law and agriculture. The new campus is located in emerging east Jinan, the City of Spring with a time-honored cultural history and beautiful natural landscape, in Shandong province, adjacent to the East Jingshi Road in the south, the Century Avenue in the north, the Jinan Administration Approval Service Center and Jinan Olympic Sports Center, boasting its superior geographical location and convenient traffic.

Wenzhou Medical University (WMU) is a higher institution under the administration of Zhejiang Provincial Government. It can trace its origin back to the former Zhejiang Specialized Medical School established in 1912. In August 1958, a group of faculty was sent from Zhejiang Medical College in Hangzhou to help establish the Second Zhejiang Medical College in Wenzhou

Founded in 1937, Fujian Medical University (FMU) has become a provincial key university for priority development focusing on medicine and paying attention to harmonious development of multiple disciplines, such as science, management, law, arts and engineering. Through 80 years’ construction and development, it has developed an integral education system offering bachelor's, master's and doctor's degree programs.

The Anshan Institute of Iron and Steel (former University of Science and Technology Liaoning) was authorized to recruit international student in 1996. In 2007, the School of International Education was established co-located with the university international office. In 2017, the School of international Education had become an independent department for the education and training of all international students.
