China University Scholarship Application Deadline 2020

In the year 2020, many China's universities roll out more scholarships or funding schemes to help ease international students financial burden considering the influence of COVID-19. 

Although scholarship chances are more than last year, entry requirements are much stricter than before especially with more professional admission system was taken in recent years. Besides, each university also has its own application requirements. In terms of qualifications, usually to apply for scholarships in China, your overall results/avearage grade should be 75% at least, some schools require 80% above. If your results lower than 75%, the chance for you to get scholarship will be much lower. 

For non-English speakers who wanna apply for English medium programs, schools in recent years usuall require them to provide IELTS/TOEFL to make sure their English proficiency is good enough. Some schools may give alternatives on this, like interviewing or other English proficiency certificates. But, whatever options you are given, most schools in China are tending to give strict rules on English proficiency in recent years. 

As for application deadline, some students may think schools will extend deadline this year considering the influence of COVID-19, but in fact most of them may stick to their recruitment arrangements and will not extend application period. So it's better to start early and prepare your application documents well before the deadline.
