In 1952, carrying the glorious mission of revitalizing the new Chinese chemical industry, Shenyang University of Chemical Technology (SYUCT) came into being. After more than sixty years’ construction and development, SYUCT has become an engineering-oriented institution of higher education, characterized by chemical industry, with a combination of disciplines of engineering, science, management, economics, humanities, law, education, medicine etc. SYUCT is the key construction university of “Double First-class University” (first-class university, first-class discipline) of Liaoning Province, and national key construction university of “Basic Capacity Building Project in Central and Western Universities” (small “211”).

Under the guidance of the People’s Government of Liaoning Province, Shenyang Institute of Engineering (SIE) is a full-time regular undergraduate institution. Presently, SIE has a total student population of 11,064. Since it was founded, SIE has sent tens of thousands of applied talents to society. The employment rate of SIE has remained above 90% in recent years and graduates have received widely positive reviews from their employers.

A key multidisciplinary and research-oriented university directly under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education, Nankai University, located in Tianjin on the border of the sea of Bohai, is also the alma mater of our beloved late Premier Zhou Enlai. Nankai University was founded in 1919 by the famous patriotic educators, Mr. Zhang Boling and Mr. Yan Xiu. During the Anti-Japanese war (1937-1945), Nankai University, Peking University (Beijng University) and Tsinghua University (Qinghua University) united in Kunming to form the renowned Southwest Associated University. It was considered to be The North Star of Higher Learning.

East China Jiaotong University（ECJTU）is an education and research university focusing on engineering and technology. It is located in the heroic city of Nanchang, which has enjoyed a reputation for being richly endowed with natural resources and talents since ancient times. In 1971, the State Council, Central Military Commission approved to combine the School of Locomotive of Shanghai Jiaotong University with the School of Railway Engineering of Tongji University to become Shanghai Railway Institute and it was moved to Jiangxi Province, renamed as East China Jiaotong University and had been affiliated to the Railway Ministry of China. In March of 2000, ECJTU was reformed to be co-sponsored by both central and provincial governments(mainly by the local government). It is listed as a key university entitled to the funding support from the government. It is also an organization being constructed for PHD degree program.

The Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT) is a comprehensive key university owned by the Zhejiang Provincial Government, and it was established in the Year 1953. The history of the University can be traced back to 1910, when the Zhejiang Intermediate School of Technology was first founded. The ZJUT is situated in Hangzhou, a picturesque historical and cultural city in China. As a century-old university, ZUT has gone through various historical periods, namely Hangzhou Chemical Engineering School, Zhejiang Secondary Chemical School, Zhejiang Chemical College, and Zhejiang Engineering College.

Jilin University, located in Changchun City, Jilin Province, was founded in 1946. Currently, there are 71,920 full-time students and 6,524 faculty members in total, among which there are 2,062 professors and 1,137 doctoral advisors. There are 10 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences or the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 33 dual-employed academicians, 7 senior professors philosophical and social sciences, 20 in the 'Ten- Plan'. In 2017, Jilin University was selected as one of the universities under the Double First Class University Plan and was incorporated into the list of 36 first-class Category A universities . Five disciplines, including archeology, mathematics, physics, chemistry, and materials science and engineering were selected as First Class Disciplines. According to 2018 Evaluation and Study Report of Universities in China released by the Chinese Universities Alumni Association, Jilin University ranks the 10th among the top 100 Chinese universities.

Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NJUST), founded in 1953, is one of the key universities in China under the guidance of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It was listed in the first group of universities chosen to be part of China’s “211 Project”, which is designed to develop a hundred first-rate universities in the 21st century. The university has over sixty years experience in providing inspiring and broadened-horizon education. It has become a multi-disciplinary university comprising academic fields including: science, engineering, liberal arts, economics, business, management, law and education. In addition, NJUST encompasses a wide array of centers, institutes, programs, and administrative support offices.

Changzhou University(CZU) established in 1978, is a full-time public university jointly established by Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government, CNPC, Sinopec Group and China National Offshore Oil Corporation. The school has complete infrastructure and excellent school conditions. There are three campuses of Wujin, Baiyun and XiTaihu. The campus covers an area of over 170 hectares, the total area of the school building is 710,000 square meters, the total value of teaching and scientific research equipment is more than 500 million yuan, and more than 1.7 million paper books. The school has 17 colleges, with more than 20,000 full time students, including over 700 international students
