Admission Qualifications

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals and in good health.

2. Education background and age limit:

a. Applicants for bachelor’s degree program must be a high school graduate and under the age of 25.

b. Applicants for master degree studies must have bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35;

c. Applicants for doctoral degree studies must have master’s degree and be under the age of 40.

3. Applicants should have a competitive academic record.

4. Applicants should have strong scientific research ability.

5.  Language Proficiency Requirements:

Chinese-taught programs applicants need to submit HSK certificates. A minimum requirement of HSK5 (Score 180 or above) for undergraduate programs. (HSK4 (Score 180 or above) for programs in school of International Education). (HSK results are not compulsory for applicants whose mother tongue is Chinese or have gone through their latest education where the medium of instruction was in Chinese.)

English-taught programs applicants need to submit English proficiency certificate (English native speakers are exempted). TOEFL: no less than 80, IELTS: no less than 6.0. （Native English speakers are exempted. Applicants who can got latest degree taught in English may provide a certificate of English instruction instead of IELTS and TOEFL certificates）
